RB Web Development, a proudly locally owned web design firm, made the move to Decorah from Des Moines in 2025. Founded by Rob Batzler—a 1998 Decorah High School graduate—the business originally launched in Des Moines in 2008. Rob brings over 20 years of professional web design experience to the table, having honed his craft straight out of college.
Specializing in bridging the gap between DIY website solutions and high-end $10,000+ agency packages, RB Web Development delivers customized, budget-conscious web design and marketing strategies. Rob takes the time to understand each client’s financial goals and works to provide practical, impactful results that align with their budget.
With a team of talented independent contractors and dedicated virtual assistants, RB Web Development supports hundreds of small businesses in both the Des Moines and Decorah communities.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, tackling DIY projects around the house, and hitting the sand for a game of 2v2 volleyball.
